Title: Shakespeare's Secret by Elise Broach
Review: I think this book is very amusing to ones who like Shakespeare’s plays or England literature and royal history, but for me it was a quick and imaginative reading book that I didn’t really take much attracting to for conceive of the author’s style of writing. The setting at the Murphy House neighborhood is perfect because it would be simpler to for readers to get a better prospective of the Murphy family and the mystery of the missing diamond, a piece of the necklace that was passed down from Edward de Vere the 17th Earl of Oxford, England, by leading the main character to visit a neighbor who knows a lot of the subject of the missing diamond, which is a legacy of the previous house owner of Hero’s new home, the ‘Murphy House’. Characterization is a hard one, I think it is very thoughtful and well done by shaping it with the story’s tone flawlessly. The author also adds a robust descriptive figurative language for the reader to picture the full image of the story and the plot was very suspenseful on how did the necklace related to the relationship of the Earl of Oxford and the Queen of England, Queen Elizabeth I and her mother Queen Anne Boleyn the second wife of King Henry VIII and how it relates to the fact of where the diamond is truly located therefore I would rate it with four and a half stars.
